Loafer Movie Review, Rating, Box Office Collection Predictions: Varun Tej, Puri Jagannath Just after Varun Tej made us bow with respect for his second movie Kanche directed by Krish a few months ago, he is coming back with Loafer which is a completely different genre as the name itself suggests. It is a Puri Jagannath film and Varun is doing something different in his third flick. The movie is going to hit the screens on 17th December 2015 across the world and here we are with the review, rating and box office predictions of the movie.

Loafer is directed by Puri Jagannath and is produced by C. Kalyan. The movie marks the debut of Disha Patani in Tollywood as a female lead. Revathi and Posani Krishna Murali will be seen playing important roles as Varun’s parents in the movie.Ali will be seen playing the role of Spider Babu while Mukesh Rishi will be playing a negative lead. The movie was officially announced on 8th July 2015 and it completed shooting by November.

Varun Tej debuted with the movie Mukunda directed by Srikanth Addala. The movie was partly successful at the box office and was critically acclaimed. His second movie Kanche showed him as a dedicated lover and a soldier from the World War II. His performance won several appreciations and he was termed as the best Mega Hero in the recent times.

However, with his third movie Loafer, we cannot say anything about the critical acclaim, but it will sure be a commercial hit as it will have the Puri flavor of entertainment.

Story Plot:

As we see in the trailer, the movie is about a guy whose father and mother play a major role in his life. His father tells him that his mother died, but she is actually alive. The whole movie is a Puri mark entertainer which has no particular story, but lots of twists and entertaining stuff. So we will update the “story” once the movie hits the screens.

Review: 

The loafer is getting the pretty good pre-release talk. All thanks to Varun’s image. He is for sure a hard working guy unlike the other Mega heroes in the recent times. Even Ram Gopal Verma praised Varun Tej that he is the best successor of Pawan Kalyan in the Mega family. The movie may get good to average reviews from the critics for the genre it carries. Fresh face, Disha may just get the brownie points as a new talent.

Box Office Predictions:

Loafer is releasing on Thursday, 17th December. The movie has no other competition in Telugu. Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger got average reviews, so most probably Loafer will have a good occupancy on the first day. However, since the very big budget films are releasing in Hindi, like Dilwale and Bajirao Masthani, we never know if Loafer has to face a problem in the first weekend. The movie may make up to 10Cr business on the first two days.
